Book Review With Robert Sikkenga
Friday, April 8 at 1:00 PM - Muskegon native, author and humorist, Robert
Sikkenga, author of Moon Over Ajalon and Amity Street will be at Bethany CRC.
His book talk will be on Moon Over Ajalon. This devotional book invites readers
to consider themselves as characters in the drama of Israel by following the
stories of heroes, villains, and everyday folk in the first six books of the
Bible. As per the author, “many of my happy memories from Sunday School are
recorded”. Amity Street is “set in familiar surroundings between Wood and
Getty, the celery flats and the churches, and recalls a few familiar ghosts of
the past such as a preacher, a drunk, a junk man and few other characters
thrown in to make a good story.”
After the talk, everyone is invited to enjoy coffee and cookies during Bob’s
book signing.
If you would like to join the Bethany Intermediate Club for lunch with the
author at 11:30 AM, please call Marva Stevens at 755-0579 or Grace Eckman at
780-3988 before Tuesday, April 5.

Needed - Underwriters for Ramps
Love INC needs underwriters for the ramps ministry. You can help by purchasing
the materials needed for the ramps. We have many requests, but few
underwriters. Call Cindy at 773-3448. If everyone does a small part, we can
make a huge impact.

Love INC Notes
Love INC invites you to share your ministry with the community on April 2nd
from 9:00 AM to noon. We will broadcast from our Love building via radio
station 103.7. Representatives from your church are invited to come anytime
during the hours listed to share how you are building the community through
your ministries. We will also have a food drive during this time. We could use
help from your youth groups or individuals. Call Cynthia at 773-3448.
